- Original Birth Certificate.
- Letter of Consent. An ORIGINAL consent letter signed by both parents / guardians, specifying who will be travelling with the child and authorizing the trip.
- Copies of both parents' passports.

3) Multiple entry visa is only possible if you have held 1-2 previous Nigerian visas in the past year.

To apply for a travel visa to Nigeria requires the following documents:

Original, signed Ireland passport. with at least 6 months of remaining validity and two blank pages side by side.
Photographs: 2. Two passport size photographs of the applicant with signature, name in CAPITAL letters and date on the back
Bank Statement. Copy of a recent bank statement showing proof of sufficient funds.
Bank Statement. Applicant's bank statement showing their full name and address as well as credit of 500 GBP or more (not overdraft). Statements must be dared within a month of the date of application.
Hotel Reservations. Copy of confirmed hotel reservations including name of the applicant, name and address of the hotel, duration of stay.
Two Utility Bills. 2 RECENT UTILITY BILLS (different utilities) OR SIGNED HOUSE TENANCY CONTRACT/MORTGAGE STATEMENT ORIGINALS MUST BE SHOWN AT TIME OF SUBMISSION. Mobile phones bills or bank statements are NOT acceptable
Employment Letter. Copy of a letter from your employer on business letterhead, with contact details, stating that a leave of absence has been granted, purpose and duration of the trip, and that you will be returning to your current job. The Employment letter must be addressed to the Embassy of Nigeria 56 Leeson Park, Dublin 6, D06 W981, Ireland and the employer must be based in the Ireland. If you are self-employed, include a copy of your business license and tax return. If you are retired please submit proof of your retirement fund.
Letter stating the purpose of the trip. A letter stating the purpose of the visit, and your complete itinerary for the duration of the stay. This must be typed, signed and addressed to the Embassy of Nigeria 56 Leeson Park, Dublin 6, D06 W981, Ireland. Please note if you are visiting a friend you will need to submit a letter of invitation and a copy of the inviters Nigerian passport.
