Visa application form. A fully completed form signed by the applicant.
Original Passport. Passport must be valid for at least six months after date of leaving the Bahamas and must have one completely blank page (no ink markings).
Photos. Two (2) recent passport sized colored photos.
Proof of Status. Scanned copy of GNIB card or other proof of resident status in Ireland, this should be valid for more than 6 months after your return from Bahamas.
Itinerary. Copy of purchased round trip tickets or itinerary (Applicant's name and confirmation number must be on itinerary).
Health Insurance. Proof of health insurance covering international travel.
Bank Statement. Copy of a recent bank statement showing proof of sufficient funds.
Employment Letter. Copy of a letter from your employer on business letterhead, with contact details, stating that a leave of absence has been granted, purpose and duration of the trip, and that you will be returning to your current job. The Employment letter must be addressed to the High Commission of Bahamas. If you are self-employed, include a copy of your business license and tax return. If you are retired please submit proof of your retirement fund.
Hotel Reservations. Copy of confirmed hotel reservations including name of the applicant, name and address of the hotel, duration of stay.
Personal Invitation. If staying with friends or family, a letter of invitation from the host in Bahamas, NOTARIZED by the appropriate city hall in Bahamas can be used instead of the hotel reservation.
